Ark Walk and Fun Day

ARK Advocates hosts an annual Ark Walk and Fun Day each November to raise money to support local children and adults with disabilities.

Annual Awards Potluck
	ARK Advocates Board invites all ARK members and community members to an annual potluck held each May. Each year, we give recognition to those who have made a difference in the life of a person with a disability. Nomination form deadline is in April 12th 2010. Awards Potluck is scheduled for May 18th 2010 at 6pm Hollywood Theme. Please bring a dish to pass.

Up With Families
	Up With Families is scheduled for March 2011. Up With Families is an event that brings families with children with special needs together. Various organizations within the community will offer seminars on support and services available to families. Respite to their children and siblings will be provided. Respite Day

Grandview Methodist Church

The Rotary Grant is supporting this event.

ARK Advocates Board Members consisting of teachers, parents and community members serving people with disabilities in partnership with local youth groups will host a free respite day.

This respite day will be free to elementary age children who have a disability.

Watch for more information to come. Fall date will be added for middle school students.
